Recycling rates of e-waste in Austria 2008-2017

Austria's recycling rate of electrical and electronic waste (WEEE) considerably decreased by nearly 10 percent from 2008 to 2009. In the following years, figures oscillated with a general trend of growth, reaching the peak at 50.1 percent as of 2017.

Electronic waste, often referred to as e-waste, is electronic products such as phones, computers and televisions that are discarded at the end of their useful life.
