Supplementary notes

The House of Representatives is, besides the Senate, one of the two houses of the Australian Federal Parliament. Sometimes it is also referred to as the 'people's house', the 'house of government' or the 'lower house'. It includes 150 members of which each member represents an electoral division. Each representative of the house is allowed to continue for up to three years, after which general elections have to be held.
Figures were calculated considering the current number of parliamentarians.
Vacant seats are not included.
