Indian wood industry export and import value FY 2016-2022
In the fiscal year 2022, the wood valued at over 40 billion Indian rupees were imported to India. Of these, imported wood and articles of wood accounted for a significantly larger amount than exports, with almost 14 billion Indian rupees being exported. This industry came under the delicensed category.
