Total trade between the EU and Mercosur 2008-2018

In 2018, the total value of trade between the European Union and Mercosur amounted to 87.6 billion euros. In the period presented, imports and exports between the 28 EU countries and Mercosur's four full members (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay) reached its highest value in 2012, year in which the inter-regional trade surpassed the one hundred billion euros mark. Since then, these blocs' foreign trade balance has been in favor of the EU.
