Electric vehicles worldwide - BEV sales by country H1 2019

Between January and June, around 430,700 battery electric vehicles were sold in China, making it the largest market worldwide. Year-on-year, Dutch sales of battery electric vehicles (BEV) increased by 118 percent. Norway had the highest BEV penetration in the first six months of 2019: Battery electric vehicles accounted for about 37 percent of light vehicle sales in Norway.
