This statistic provides the global investments in civil drone technologies as of May 2016, by region. North American drone investments came to around 490 million U.S. dollars, 315 million of which were invested locally, while cross-border investments from North America to Europe and Asia amounted to around 175 million U.S. dollars. Asia and Europe sent about 29.5 million U.S. dollars worth of investments into civil drone technologies to North America.
