India - low birth weight share among newborns in north-eastern states 2014

This statistic presents the results of a survey among households across north-eastern Indian states about the distribution of low birth weight among newborns in 2013-14. In that period, Mizoram had the lowest share of low birth weight among newborns with just over two percent. The state of Nagaland had the highest share of newborns with low birth weight during the survey period.
