In 2019, most overnight stays for trips taken by Italian tourists related to people aged 65 years and older. Overall, travelers within this age group recorded roughly 73 million overnight stays. Moreover, individuals aged between 45 and 54 years followed in the lists, registering about 72 million overnight stays in 2019.
