The number of inbound visits in Greece rose across all regions in 2022 over the previous year, after falling dramatically with the onset of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Overall, the Southern Aegean region recorded the highest figure in 2022, with nearly 6.7 million visits. Meanwhile, Attica, Central Macedonia, and Crete followed in the ranking that year.
