Foreign direct investment (FDI) in Mexico 2021, by country
Throughout 2021, less than a fifth of foreign direct investments (FDI) in Mexico came from Spain. During that same period, nearly 47 percent of Mexican FDI originated from the United States, the main source of FDI to the Latin American country. Moreover, FDI in Mexico tends to fall in the second and fourth quarters of each years.
