Monthly number of Lufthansa passengers 2021-2022
In September 2022, Lufthansa transported around 10.88 million passengers. This graph shows the number of passengers flying with Lufthansa from September 2021 to September 2022, in each month. Passenger flights of the Lufthansa Group are operated by the airlines Lufthansa German Airlines, SWISS and Austrian Airlines, as well as by the low-cost carriers Eurowings and Brussels Airlines. The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the resulting travel restrictions severely affected passenger numbers, in addition to Lufthansa operations and profits in general.
