Italy: share of foreign tourist arrivals in 2015, by accommodation type
This statistic illustrates the share of tourist arrivals from selected countries in Italy in 2015 who stayed in hotels and in other types of accommodation. According to the study results, one in three German tourists stayed in different kinds of accommodation than hotels. By contrast, tourists from the US, Spain and the UK preferred staying in hotels: over 80 percent of them chose to stay in hotel rooms.
