FDI in Brazil 2018, by sector

In 2018, more than 56 percent of foreign direct investments (FDIs) in Brazil went to the manufacturing sector. It was followed by the services sector with almost 25.9 percent of all FDIs in the South American country during that year. Still, recently it was estimated that over 70 percent of employees in Brazil work in the service sector.
