Average length of summer vacation planned by European countries 2021

The French: European champions of summer holidays

Europeans avoid travelling abroad

However, it can also be said that Europeans like to discover the countries of their closest neighbors. In 2017, 15 percent of German tourists were considering going to Spain for the summer holidays , while 11 percent of Spaniards planned to spend their holidays in Italy.
