Awareness of Smart meters in the UK 2017

This statistic illustrates the public awareness of the government mandate scheme of offering a smart meter to every home in the United Kingdom (UK), and the respondents knowledge of smart meters before the survey conducted in 2017. Of the 812 surveyed who had not had a Smart meter installed, 70 percent were aware of the government scheme. However, 11 percent of respondents did not have any knowledge of what Smart meters were before the survey.
