Real Madrid CF: honors by tournament 2023

On May 8th, 2023, Real Madrid CF added another Copa del Rey to its list of honors. The Spanish soccer club had won 126 titles up until that date. On December 11, 2000, Real Madrid was also recognized with the FIFA Club of the 20th Century Award, announced at the annual FIFA World gala held in Rome, Italy.

A history of success

With most of La Liga titles, Real Madrid is not only the top winner of this championship, but it also has scored the highest number of points throughout La Liga's history, though followed closely behind by FC Barcelona. Being one of the most iconic teams in the sport, Real Madrid has won fans around the globe. In the 2021/2022 season, there were almost 2.5 thousand Real Madrid fan clubs worldwide.

The Spanish capital’s most successful soccer club generates hundred million of euros in revenue every year, having reached a peak of 757 million euros in the 2018/2019 season after a steady growth in the previous two decades. After the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, this figure jumped back to 722 million euros in the 2021/2022 season. In terms of value, the Real Madrid CF brand was estimated at over 1.5 billion dollars in 2023.
