Latin America: value of military spending 2021, by country
In 2021, Brazil ranked first in the annual value of military spending in Latin America, with an expenditure of over 18.7 billion U.S. dollars. Colombia came in second with approximately ten billion U.S. dollars in military expenditure, and Mexico third, at over 7.7 billion. Brazil is also the second Latin American country with the largest military personnel.
