Consumption of antidepressants in Italy 2013-2022
Between 2013 and 2022, consumption of antidepressant drugs increased in Italy. According to the data, in fact, in 2013 about 39 DDDs (daily defined doses) were consumed per 1,000 inhabitants per day. By 2022, the consumption of antidepressant reached 45.8 DDDs per 1,000 inhabitants per day. This figure shows the consumption rate of antidepressants in Italy from 2013 to 2022 (in DDD per 1,000 inhabitants per day).
