This statistic shows the number of congress visitors in Italy in 2016, broken down by macro-region. According to the data, roughly 16.5 million visitors took part in business events in the North, about double the figure for the Center (8.3 million). By contrast, only about 1.2 million congress visitors were recorded in the Islands.
