This statistic depicts the share of overweight or obese individuals in Italy as of 2018, by education level. According to data, there was a clear relation between weight class and level of education. More specifically, 41.8 percent of overweight individuals hold no school certificate, 36.8 percent of them had a secondary school diploma, while 29.7 percent of the obese Italians had a high school diploma. Lastly, only 24.6 percent of the overweight individuals were university graduates.
