In 2018, new vehicle distribution accounted for the largest share of the revenue of D'Ieteren Auto. New vehicles generated nearly three billion euros worth of revenue for D'Ieteren in 2018, whereas used vehicles generated 68.2 million euros in the same year.

The D'Ieteren Group is based in Belgium and was founded in 1805 as a car manufacturing enterprise. Currently the group has three main activities: D'Ieteren Auto is Belgium's main vehicle distributor, Belron specializes in vehicle glass repair and replacement worldwide, and the recently acquired Moleskine company is a global lifestyle brand well known for its paper notebooks and diaries.
