Revenue deficit across Tamil Nadu in India FY 2012-2021

In fiscal year 2021, the revenue deficit across the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu was estimated to be about 216 billion Indian rupees. This was a significant increase in deficit from financial year 2014 in the state.
