Bank branch density in Latin America 2021, by country
In 2021, Honduras was the Latin American country with the largest bank branches density. Brazil's density of bank branches stood at 11 offices per 1,000 adults. Guatemala and Panama followed, both with more than 20 bank branches per 1,000 adults. In contrast, Peru and El Salvador had seven and six bank branches per 1,000 adults, respectively.
