Library visits in the Netherlands 2007-2017
The statistic displays the number of library visitors in the Netherlands from 2007 to 2017, in millions. From 2007 to 2013, the annual number of library visitors in the Netherlands decreased steadily. In 2007, just below 80 million people visited libraries throughout the Netherlands, whereas by 2013, this figure had fallen by 20 million visitors. 2015 marked a break in the downward trend of library visitor numbers and in 2017, the visitor numbers were once again approaching 60 million.
