Global average value of M&A deals 1991-2021

Over the last thirty years, the average value of merger and acquisition deals has risen in every region globally. In early 2021, North America had the highest average value of M&A deals with an estimated 204 million U.S dollars. This was more than double the average deal size in Europe. Meanwhile the average deal in the Middle East and North Africa quadrupled between 1991 and 2021.
