Expected YoY growth in the number of employees in cafes in France 2020
Many establishments in the French restaurant industry had to close their doors to the public for extended periods of time in 2020 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. According to the source, in France, 18 percent of cafes recorded a decrease of 50 percent or more in number of employees in 2020 compared to the previous year. Nevertheless, figures remained unchanged for 56 percent of establishments.
