Nordics: prevalence of racist violence 2015-2016

This statistic displays the share of people of African descent who have experienced racist violence within the last five years of the survey period in selected Nordic countries from 2015 to 2016. According to the results of the survey, 14 percent of people of African descent in Finland had experienced racist violence. The corresponding figure for people of African descent in Sweden was seven percent.

* The survey was conducted in Finland from November 2, 2015 to August 9, 2016; in Denmark from October 24, 2015 to March 14, 2016; and in Sweden November 2, 2015 to March 30, 2016.

**The sample size in Finland was 502 respondents, in Denmark 1,085 respondents, and in Sweden 1,098 respondents.
