Acts of racial violence and discrimination in Italy 2015-2020, by motive

Even if assigning a motive to racial violences and descrimination cases can be difficult, the records of hate crimes collect such information. In Italy, the most widespread motives behind racial crimes are national or ethnic origin, and somatic traits of the victim. Between January 2015 and March 2020, such motives accounted for almost three thousand racial violences and discrimination acts in the country.
