Italy: people perception on homeopathy 2018

This statistic shows the results of a survey about Italian people’s perceptions on homeopathic drugs in Italy as of 2018. According to data, most of the interviewees highlighted the natural nature of homeopathic products. As a matter of fact, 39.9 percent of respondents thought that homeopathic drugs contained natural active pharmaceutical ingredients, whereas 33.1 percent of them declared that homeopathic medicines were not toxic, given that they were manufactured without recurring to chemical products. Lastly, 12.2 percent of respondents labelled homeopathic drugs as alternative medicines.
