According to data, the region with the largest share of patients who got a medicine prescription for their condition was Sicily (31.1 percent), followed by Calabria and Apulia with 30.5 and 28.2 percent, respectively. By contrast, Emilia-Romagna and Trentino-South Tyrol registered the lowest share with 18.4 and 19 percent, respectively.
