In 2023, the German ICT sector is predicted to generate a total revenue of 199.3 billion euros.
Telecommincations in GermanyGermany is home to a growing number of successful telecommunications companies which are facing an increasingly competitive market. It is not uncommon for consumers to turn away from large corporations and search for smaller providers with possibly more accessible customer service options and a wider selection of offers, also in terms of price. All the same, thus far the most profitable telecommunications company in Germany was the mainstay Deutsche Telekom, followed by Vodafone Germany and Telefonica Germany, otherwise knowns as O2. In 2022, the services segment was the leading revenue generator in the German telecommunications industry, at 49.6 billion euros.
