In 2023, consumers in the United States were forecast to eat around 6.76 million kilograms of bread and bread rolls. Rice was the next biggest category by total consumption. Consumption of bread has mostly been stable with a slight uptick 2021. For the future an increase in bread consumption is predicted. By 2026, consumption is expected to reach 7.11 billion kilograms.
