This statistic displays the results of a survey of opinions on replacing Whit Sunday with Eid al-Fitr as a national holiday in the Netherlands in 2019. The survey results suggest that public opinion in the Netherlands was very much against replacing Whit Monday with Eid al-Fitr. Close to 80 percent of respondents indicated that they were opposed to replacing Whit Monday with the Festival of Breaking the Fast after Ramadan as a national holiday, while roughly 15 percent of people surveyed were in favor of the idea.
