Antibiotic consumption in England in 2017, by prescriber

In 2017, almost 73 percent of all the antibiotics consumed in England were prescribed from a general practice. Hospital inpatient services prescribed 11.5 percent of the antibiotics consumed in England in this year, while hospital outpatient settings accounted for 7.1 percent of the prescribed antibiotics.
