Perceptions on palm oil being healthier than soybean oil in Malaysia 2019

According to a survey conducted in Malaysia in 2019, about 79 percent of those surveyed agreed that palm oil is a healthier option compared to soybean oil, while 20.8 percent disagree with this statement. Malaysia is one of the world's leading producers of palm oil, and its economy is dependent on the continued consumption of palm oil.
