In the last quarter of 2018 in Norway, 50 percent of the respondents, who thought they spent too much time online, believed that social media was the most time-consuming activity. Furthermore, 16 percent of the respondents lost track of time when reading online newspapers. In comparison, watching a movie or playing games online accounted for nine percent of the respondents' internet activities each, during this period.
