Mexico: number of population with inadequate housing 2008-2018
Around 13.8 million people in Mexico were considered vulnerable due to inadequate housing in 2018. Even though the number has decreased in comparison to the 14.8 million registered in 2016, the quantity of people living in poor housing conditions or lacking enough space accounted for more than 11 percent of the Mexican population in 2018.
