As of March 2018, Danes were asked how being concerned about their household's consumption of tap water affects their behavior. According to the survey, a share of 76 percent stated that they avoid running water without using it. Another popular way to reduce tap water consumption was to pay attention to taps that are dripping or toilets that are running, by 75 percent.
