Number of workers in the construction industry South Korea 2021, by sector
In 2021, the South Korean construction industry employed around 1.65 million workers. The largest share of employees worked in the general construction sector at around 550 thousand workers. A further 409 thousand people worked in the site preparation and foundation works sector.
