Denmark annual construction turnover 2020

In 2020, the turnover of the construction industry in Denmark increased by 1,219 million euros since 2019. With 40.3 billion euros, the turnover thereby reached its highest value in the observed period. The recent development could be explained by the fact that Eurostat reports a break in time series for 2018. Notably, the turnover in this industry has been, with the exception of 2013, continuously increasing over the last years.

Turnover is defined by Eurostat as the total of all sales (excluding VAT) of goods and services carried out by the enterprises of a given sector during the reference period.
