Working time of freelancers per month Japan 2022
In an online survey conducted between September and November 2022, approximately 33 percent of freelancers in Japan reported working between 140 to 200 hours a month. In total, freelancers who worked more than 140 hours per month constituted almost 50 percent of respondents, meaning that about half of all freelancers had a similar or higher working time as regular full-time employees.
