Brazil: harvested hectarage of yerba mate 2013-2018

In 2018, approximately 72 thousand hectares planted with yerba mate were harvested in Brazil, down from 75.8 thousand hectares harvested in the previous year. This is the lowest harvested area reported for the country since 2014. In the indicated period, yerba mate harvesting in Brazil peaked in 2015, year in which it reached nearly 95 thousand hectares.
