In 2019, most Danes agreed that journalistic media had a positive impact on democracy and social cohesion in Denmark. In detail, it was particularly the local politicians who strongly agreed to this, at 57 percent, while 38.6 percent of the respondents from the population believed the same. However, 8.6 percent of the respondents from this group did not have an answer to this question, as opposed to less than one percent of the respondents with a background in local politics.
