Cash profit after tax of major banks Australia 2021
The Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) led the four major banks in Australia in the first half of 2021, reporting a cash profit after tax of 3.9 billion Australian dollars at the end of 2020. This was higher than the earnings of the other big four banks in the country, however, it did not include the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. One of the largest Australian company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, CBA also operates in New Zealand, Asia, and the United Kingdom.
