Share of patient visits in private health- and elderly care in Sweden 2017, by type
Almost half, 46 percent, of all patient visits in primary care in Sweden in 2017 were made in privately owned care centers. The share was lower for other types of care, and the second highest that followed was home care service for elderly, where 23 percent of the visits were private.
