General opinion on the health care system in Brazil 2022

According to a survey conducted in Brazil in 2022, around 41 percent of respondents said they trusted their country's health care system to provide the best health treatment. Moreover, eight in every ten interviewees stated that they believe many people cannot afford good health care in Brazil, while 78 percent said waiting times to get an appointment with doctors are too long. According to the same survey, only 29 percent of respondents believed that the quality of the Brazilian health care system is either good or very good.
