Use of condom in Denmark 2018, by age and gender

Using a condom was most common among Danes over 65 years in 2018. In detail, 78 percent of the female and male respondents had used condoms within the past year. In comparison, 61 percent of the respondents in the youngest age group had protected themselves with a condom that year. However, among Danes between 45 and 54 years, it was least common to use a condom. Altogether, men used condoms as a contraceptive method to a greater extent than women.
