Leading motivations of Australian tourists to visit Japan 2019
According to a survey conducted in the departure lobbies of Japanese airports and seaports throughout 2019, for 87.1 percent of Australian tourists eating Japanese food was one of the motivations to come to Japan. Japanese cuisine was followed in popularity by nature and scenery sightseeing as well as experiencing Japanese history and culture.
