This statistic shows the number of arrivals of foreign tourists in China from 2009 to 2019. In 2019, approximately 31.9 million arrivals of tourists from abroad in China were registered. These do not include arrivals of tourists from Macau, Hong Kong or Taiwan.

The data include holiday trips and business trips, as well as visiting relatives and other reasons to travel to China. Each arrival is counted separately regardless if the same person arrived several times a year.
