Brazil: planted agricultural area 2016-2018, by type

In 2018, the agricultural area planted with temporary crops in Brazil amounted to 73.2 million hectares, slightly down from 73.6 million hectares a year earlier. The land planted with permanent crops in the country has also seen a decrease in recent years, from 5.34 million hectares in 2017 to 5.27 million hectares in 2018.
